Regal Health Services is an established provider of experienced Community Nursing since 1966. We value our clients and are committed to maintaining and restoring Independence and Quality of Life at Home. This is evidenced by a further 4 years accreditation awarded by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards this year, after 3 successful organisation-wide surveys since 1994.

Patricia R Shepherd, Executive Director of Nursing, established Regal Health Services in 1966 with a vision to empower Community Nurses and their clients. Over many years the organisation has participated in numerous activities that have impacted on the standards and professionalism of the Community Nursing profession. In 1983 Anna M Shepherd joined Regal Health Services and today is the Chief Executive Officer overseeing the operations in Sydney.

Regal Health Services understands the cultural and social issues of the clients it attends. Continuity of Care is a primary focus of the Regal Health Services organisation. Its Community Nurses are teamed up in local areas on a permanent basis, thus no client will ever be attended by more than 2 - 3 nurses on a regular basis. From our Quality Improvement activities, our clients place a high value on this service delivery model.
