BE PART OF OUR GROWING HOME HEALTHCARE TEAM!

Working with Regal Health Services as a Community Nurse offers flexibility in working hours, autonomy in daily structure and care provision. RHS has an education program for all nurses providing the opportunity to increase your nursing knowledge, maintain or update skills and access to the latest information and technology.

Registered Nurses
Community nursing offers the opportunity for Registered Nurses to undertake holistic nursing care commencing with the assessment of the client in their home environment. Development of a plan of care aims to seek the best outcome for the client. This is achieved through undertaking client education in the areas of health promotion, illness prevention and through best practice. Liaison with family, other service providers and health professionals is integral to this role.

Enrolled Nurses
Regal Health Services has recently introduced Enrolled Nurses to our team of health professionals, offering a new direction for EN's. This compliments the Registered Nurse role as well as providing the appropriate staff skill mix for our clients as determined by their need. The EN is fully supported by our Community Registered Nurses and by our Clinical Excellence Coordinator.

What is Community Nursing?
Regal Health Services provide visits by experienced Community Nurses to attend clients in their own home. We aim to facilitate Independence & Quality of Life at Home.

A Clinical Assessment is made with the client, and relevant others. A plan of care is made in consultation with the client, significant others, General Practitioner, other health professionals and service providers.

Regal Health Services Community Nurses are assigned permanently to a geographical area to ensure continuity of care to the client. Nursing visits are made within a 2 hour time frame, and are not usually more than 1 hour, and if necessary, are available 7 days per week.
