Referrals may be made via phone between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm
Monday through to Sunday. (Confidential fax is available for referrals once the
office is phoned).
All new clients are attended in their homes or preferred locations within 24
hours.
If Regal Health Services is unable to provide services for any
reason the referrer is advised immediately.
Processes are in place to ensure that all the required information is obtained
for the Community Nurse to undertake assessment & nursing care at home.
Entry Criteria

Clients are attended within geographical boundaries throughout Sydney
Metropolitan areas

The client must agree to receive services

Any age group
-
Confirmation via authority / hospital request must be received prior to
commencement of treatment

Receipt of detailed Discharge Summary and background information
-
Ability to transfer/mobilise with or without aids
Non-entry Criteria
-
Abusive and/or Aggressive client
-
Non-compliant
-
Client not agreeable to receive care
-
Acute psychiatric disorders
-
Absence of 24 hour support mechanisms if client is unable to care for oneself
